Mitch Goldenberg

After graduating from the University of Illinois, Mitch joined Teach for America and taught high school in the Los Angeles area in some of America’s most impoverished communities. While working with these youth, many of whom were gang members and came from fatherless homes, Mitch developed a deep love for the hurting, the forgotten, and the marginalized.

Mitch then went on to pursue Ministerial Credentials with the Assemblies of God while working with college students and helping to pioneer campus ministries at the University of California Los Angeles, the University of Southern California, and, later on, at the University of Central Oklahoma. While doing this, he helped lead multiple mission trips to Haiti and Vietnam.

Currently, Mitch is focused on investing in the marginalized and travels across the U.S. and abroad to help those in need. He has been on over 30 trips to Haiti and continues to travel there. His focus in Haiti is to help break the cycle of poverty through mentorship, job creation, food distribution, and education. In the Spring of 2023, he helped launch a brand new school in Haiti, Impact International Institute of Haiti, with a vision to provide a holistic education in one of the World’s most impoverished nations. This school currently serves pre-school through 1st grade and will grow to the 12th grade. Every student receives 2 meals each day, an excellent education, Bible lessons, and will have access to the trade academy the school is developing when they are older. Mitch also travels to Vietnam to work with the persecuted church and invests in their youth and their leadership with a vision to raise up the next generation. He strongly believes this generation will carry the Gospel throughout Vietnam, Asia, and the Earth.
